Request account deletion

Use this page to request deletion of your Pathshala Lab account. After you request deletion, the account becomes inaccessible immediately; personal identifiers are removed or anonymized after about 30 days.

1. Delete in the app (fastest)

Open the app → Profile → Delete account. After you confirm, the account can no longer be used to sign in.

2. Request by email (without the app)

Email support@pathshalalab.xyz with the subject: Account deletion request.

Include the mobile number and/or email used to register or sign in. If you signed up with Google, include that Google email as well.

After we verify ownership, we apply the same deletion process. The account is typically deactivated within a few business days.

3. Timeline — what happens

Deletion is completed in two stages:

Immediately: the account is deactivated — sign-in and app access stop.
After about 30 days: personal identifiers on the user record (name, phone, email, password hash, Google identifiers, profile image link, and similar) are removed or anonymized.

4. What may be retained

Learning progress, AI chat, and related records may be retained in anonymized form (without those personal identifiers).

Limited backups, security logs, or data kept for legal reasons may remain briefly. Aggregated or anonymized analytics already collected by providers such as Firebase may be retained under their policies.
