Privacy Policy

Account and profile: mobile phone number, email address (if you use email), name, class, division, optional profile photo, and verification status (phone/email).

Login and security: password (stored hashed/encrypted on our servers), Google account identifiers if you use Google Sign-In, and one-time passcodes (OTP) for phone or email verification. OTP is typically used for registration or phone verification; day-to-day login is mainly password or Google.

Learning and progress: subject/chapter progress, practice results, and AI tutor chat content needed to deliver lessons and recommendations.

Device and usage: app events (such as screen views), crash logs, and performance metrics via Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring. Remote Config may control telemetry settings.

To create and verify accounts, provide secure login, deliver NCTB-aligned lessons and practice, power the AI tutor, save progress, and improve app reliability and quality.

Production traffic uses HTTPS (api.pathshalalab.xyz). Account and learning data are stored on our servers. Login tokens on the device are kept in secure storage.

We may use an email delivery service (such as Resend SMTP) to send email OTPs. We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers needed to run the service (for example hosting, Firebase, and email), limited to what is necessary.

You can request deletion in the app under Profile → Delete account, or without the app at https://pathshalalab.xyz/en/delete-account.

After you request deletion, the account becomes inaccessible immediately (login is blocked). After about 30 days, we remove or anonymize personal identifiers on the user record (such as phone, email, name, password hash, Google identifiers, and profile image link).

Learning progress, AI chat, and related app records may remain associated with that account id without those personal identifiers. Limited backups, security logs, or data kept for legal reasons may remain briefly.

The app is designed for school students (primarily Class 6–12). Parental or guardian involvement is encouraged. Contact us at support@pathshalalab.xyz with questions.
